After You, My Dear Alphonse

This whole story is based off of reverse racism. Mrs. Wilson was assuming that Boyd was poor and underfed just because he was African American.  She is clearly trying to be nice to Boyd but ends up getting embarrassed herself. Mrs. Wilson finds out the Boyd lives with a fine family that is similar to most white families throughout the country.
It compares to our society because everyone in our city gets a stereo type. People will especially get a first reaction when someone knew moves in.  We may think that they are poor, weird or, un-athletic. The story compares to our city because both have people who may try to be nice to people which only makes them racist in the end.
